pain in lower abdomen..
Ill be 13 weeks tomorrow, has anyone else experienced this? Its like a sharp shooting pain that only lasts a few seconds but Ive been feeling them all evening. I was reading up on it and it could be something called round ligament pain? Its making me nervous..

thats probably exactly what it is. I had that with DS and it HURTS! Its harmless though.

Yup. Very scary, but when I called my dr, the nurse said it's most likely round ligament/stretching pains and normal
Call your dr if you're nervous

sounds like round ligament rain, annoying but harmless, if you are really concerned just call your doctor

Yep, that's exactly what it sounds like. I wear a maternity belt to help with it. Makes a world of difference for me.

that's probably what it is. It will come and go too. I'll have it really bad for a day then be fine for a week. And when I cough or sneeze, if I don't brace my belly, OWWWWW!

I agree with everyone else. Its probably round ligament pain. I woke up out of a dead sleep last night to it. Its scary and painful but supposedly harmless.

I had round ligament pain when i was around 20w along.
it started as a shooting pain when I got up. It was very low down... and off to one side. Between my vag and hip bone.
Eventually it got worse and worse and worse and was so severe that I couldn't really walk. It hurt all the time, sitting, standing, walking, moving, laying down, etc. They had me buy a maternity belt. But just as I got it the pain went away.
It felt like my muscles were being ripped off the bones. Thankfully it only lasted about 3 weeks. And once it left, it has not returned!!!
