bump/rug burn on toddlers forehead
My 23 month old DD fell really hard yesterday and has a really big bump/rug burn on her forehead. We took her to the Dr. yesterday to make sure there was no concussion (there isn't). They also told me to put aquaphor on it. I want to prevent scarring. The scab is starting to come off, is there anything else I should be using or will the Aquaphor also help prevent scarring? TIA

Poor baby....The aquaphor should be enough. DS scratched his face really bad in March. Deep.. I put Aquaphor on it everyday, and no scar. It took a while, but it should take care of it..
You can try Mederma for kids. It is for 2 and up but she is close enough..

Thanks, glad to know it shouldn't scar. I think I will look into the Mederma for kids also.
