Girl Name Poll
So our top two names choices are:
Giovanna
Layla/Laila
I always wanted Giovanna after my great-grandma. My husband always loved and wanted the name Layla. I like it spelled Laila.
We both like both names a lot, but each have a preference.
Would love to hear your thoughts. We are also open to other name suggestions!
Our last name is Michelli.

You know, I voted for Giovanna at first. But after I said Laila Giovanna in my head, I LOVE that!! Not sure if you wanted to use that as a middle name though.

Layla was one of my top choices but DH didnt like it. he said with our last name she kinda sounded like a pole dancer. and i prefer it spelled layla

Thanks for the input!
Laila Giovanna does flow nicely!! But we will use whichever name we dont pick for our second DD most likely (if we have another DD).
My one concern with Laila was mentioned: "Layla, I want to lay ya." But I mean kids can/will be made fun of for something....I just dont want to give her a name that can easily be mad fun of..
We'll probably wait until we see her and figure it out! LOL

When we were in Hawaii we saw it spelled Leila a lot and I love that spelling better then I like Layla. I know that wasn't on your list but I thought I'd throw it out there. I do think Leila/Layla Giovanna sound really pretty together.
