Pedicure place recommendations... Babi nails?
I have been to Babi nails in Selden and really liked it there, the feel was more like a spa. Has anyone been to the one in Glen Cove? Is it a nice location? I would also love recommendations for a good place to get a pedi that also looks very nice. I have family coming in town this wk end and I want to take the girls to a nice place to get pedis. Anywhere that wouldnt be more than 30 mins away from the Huntington/Cold Spring Harbor area would be good. TIA :)

Hi Lindsay!
I've been to the Babi in the Country Glen Center (is that which one you are talking about?) Its very nice- and they do a great job!
What about Dashing Diva on Glen Cove Rd in East Hills? I've never been there, but I passed it the other day and it looked cool!

I have not been there in years - since I moved off of the Island 6 years ago - but it was fine then. I loved that they gave a neck massage when you were drying your nails.

ok, this is silly but do you guys think 2 is too young to get a pedi. My little niece is in town and she LOVES girly things and is very well behaved so I thought it would be cool to take her with us and get one too. I don't have kids so I don't know if that is to young. Thoughts?

I don't think so! I think its cute! They probably will just paint her toes, and not do a full on pedicure! My DD definitely had her toes painted at 2. Its so cute and fun to do.

Oh good, I am so glad. My IL's live out of town so I dont get to hang with the girls much and I was really excited to spend time with my MIL, SIL & niece. Thanks for the tips Liz, I am going to look into those places.

LOVE DASHING DIVA... but its expensive for a pedicure... but its my fav place...
I like Orchid mor then Babi honeslty just down the street from the one on Old Country Road..
Babi is on Old Country Rd in Carlie Place, and Orchid is on Old Country Rd in Mineola closer to Washington Ave/ Roslyn Rd.
But Dashing Dive is GREAT in Glen Cove!

If you are brining the 2 year old and if she loves pink... Dashing Diva is the place to go everything is HOT PINK... the best pedicure there is like 45$ I love it but I forget the name... Its more expensive b/c everything is only used once, and then thrown away... they are all about cleanliness and hygiene and don't rescue anything (well except the chairs, polish and sinks lol...) I am talking about files and utensils etc... only used once. =-)
