Speaking of "old wives tales"...
Another new thing I learned was the needle trick, where you tie a sewing needle to a string, let it touch your belly, pull it up and see how it swings; if it's in a circular motion, it's a girl, and back and forth motion means a boy.
Anyone ever do this?
(i have a fascination with old wives tales lol).

Re: Speaking of "old wives tales"...
My mom did this with her wedding ring. It said she would have four children, girl, boy, girl, boy. She had me and my brother, a miscarriage at 8 weeks, and then my other brother. So it might have been accurate!

Re: Speaking of "old wives tales"...
it worked with my sister in law, someone did it to me once but not on the belly, on the palm of your hand... we shall see if it is correct!
