Dtap vaccine
DS got his Dtap vaccine at his 18mo visit last wed. They said swelling and redness at the site is normal. Its Monday, and its still a bright red area and bump where he got the shot.
This eventually goes away right?? If its not better by wed, im calling the dr.
he never had this with the other ones, i think b/c they were given in his leg previously.

Re: Dtap vaccine
DS got that with one of his vaccines at his 15 month visit. It lasted about a week. He just got another DtAP today and so far so good. I would give it a couple of more days...

Re: Dtap vaccine
Yes, DD had it too. I read that the 3rd and 4th or 4th and 5th dose of Dtap has more swelling at the injection site. DD's was there for a few days.
