Returns to Loft

Do you think Ann Taylor Loft will let me return this?

I bought a striped cotton long sleeve shirt about a month ago. Wore it once and washed it. The colors in the stripes bled all over the shirt, it is unwearable. It was around $20 so not a lot but it makes me mad that it is ruined with only one wash.

I have the receipt. Do you think I can at least get store credit? Any experience with this?

I am not usually the type to try to return something I have worn, but a cotton shirt that you can't wash, come on, that is poor quality! I shop there all the time and usually really like their stuff. I am mad too because I really like this shirt and needed some casual long sleeve stuff.

I think they are pretty good with returns. It doesnt hurt to ask. The worst they can say is no.

same thing happend to me..my favorite shirt got holes in it when I washed it! They said I could get the value of it of $4.99! I was mad and kept it..do you have your receipt

Update: Returned it for full credit, no issues.

They were so apologetic as it was obvious the colors had run terribly.

Good because I love loft, usually their stuff is good quality.

I had a bad recent experience there too! A sweater shredded after one wear..it was awful! They refunded full price, store credit for it...
