detergent for baby clothes?
Are you ladies using Dreft or are you using something else?
Is the tide free & gentle okay to use as well?
Need some help on this! Thanks!

Re: detergant for baby clothes?
I am using Dreft. A few of my Mommy friends said they use all free and clear and it works great and was cheaper.

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
Anything that is free of scents and dyes is perfectly fine. Dreft works fine, but no better than any others, and it is a lot more expensive!

Purex is great when you can find it..Any detergent with no dyes and perfumes is fine. DS has sensitive skin and we haven't had any problems. I buy whatever is on sale...

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
My son has sensitive skin and Dreft made it even worse. IMO, I would never use Dreft for any baby! We are very happy with Tide Free and Clear.

I have used dreft and the BRU brand and I actually liked the BRU brand better.

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
I used the All Free and Clear for DS. That kid has the worlds most sensitive skin and is allergic to everything, but he had no issues with it.

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
We have been using all free and clear since our first daughter was born and will continue with that. The dreft is expensive and the one and only time we used it, irritated my daughters very sensitive skin.

Dreft. I love the smell. I've been using it for DS since he was newborn and still was his stuff separately (he's 18 months ).

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
We used the Kirkland (Costco brand) free and clear for DD.
I will say that I STILL keep Dreft stain remover on hand...I don't know what is in that stuff, but it gets out some CRAZY stains!!

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
Tide free and clear seems to work well. Dreft has fragrances that are ok for most babies but some are more sensitive. Like everyone said its expensive and not really worth it except for that yummy smell

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
I just switched to All Free and Clear...did a test run on our clothes this weekend, and while we never had sensitive skin problems anyways, the detergent worked just as well as the Arm and Hammer I always used, so seems pretty good to me.

Re: detergent for baby clothes?
I have super sensitive skin and can only use Tide detergent so we went with the Tide free and clear.
