Sciatica!

Anyone dealing with this?

I'm 26 weeks and it just started over the weekend.

What can I do to help with the pain?

UGH! YES! I've been dealing with it since...get this...8 weeks! I'm now 25 weeks, but thankfully I've found some relief. First, I started going to a prenatal-friendly chiropractor. She's been working wonders (in my case, my pelvis is tilted a bit and resting on the nerve.) I highly recommend one that incorporates massage too--I can give you the name of the woman I go to if you like! I've also been sleeping with a pillow between my legs at night and it has helped so so sooo much. I'm not sure if you're into yoga, but the Child's Pose helps a ton as well. I usually do it in the morning and night. When it's really bad, an ice pack helps too. I usually do the icepack thing after a long night of being on my feet at work. Then there's also the maternity belt. I've been told to use one for a while now, but I haven't gotten around to purchasing one yet. I plan on doing it soon before things get worse though. It might help take pressure off your back and relieve the nerve. I was advised to use try all of these things together and regularly. So far, all of these things have helped so much. The pain is never permanently gone (and probably won't be until well after birth lol) but the relief factor is definitely there! I hope you find relief too!

I woke up one night and I wanted to chop my leg off, im not kidding never felt so much pain in my life, ever!!! I finally found a weird yoga type position and it relieved it after hours, never came back-must have been hitting a nerve!
