I have an update!!!!!
Ok I'm now 2 cm so I'm getting there! Unfortunately they are only giving me until Sunday to go on my own. They will not let me go too late due to a history of high blood pressure. So my question is how quickly can you progress from 2 cm to labor? I guess there is no specified time, right? It's probably different for everyone! The thing is I progressed from 1 cm to 2 very quickly. In a matter of days. Does this mean snything?
I really hope I go soon!

I was closed up at my 41 one week appointment and went int labor 24 hours labor so I dont think any of it can be predicted unfrtunately.

I have no idea but I wanted to wish you lots of luck!!! I can't wait to see pics of your baby girl!! Have you tried anything to kick start labor?

Agreed
I have a friend who was 2cm for like 2 weeks before going into labor.
Basically I would do alot of walking and anything else you can think of to get labor going!

I was 1cm at my 35wk appt, then at 37 I was 2cm and at 38 still 2cm. I was induced at 38w6d due to pre eclampsia. Being induced wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was still 2cm when I got to the hospital and progressed pretty quickly once the pitocin was started and I got my epi.

So exciting! I was 2cm and 80% effaced today too! I'm due on the 27th, my doctor told me it could be tonight it could be 2 weeks. Ahhh, the anticipation is killing me. It's like waiting for Christmas, but not knowing when it's going to come!!!

I know!!! It's seriously so crazy!! I keep thinking what if I go tonight!? It really can be anytime! The anticipation is killing me!

YaY Kristen!!! You will have your little girl in less than 1 week!! So exciting. I don't have a comment either way becasue I am unsure as to how fast women dilate BUT i wish you all the best and lots and lots of labor vibes!!

Yes. How much, I have no clue. My ob said my cervix was softening well! Lol

I was told I was being induced (due to preclampsia) I was told at noon on Friday I was 2cm and being induced at 730am the next day. I got to the hospital at 730 they checked me and I was 3cm ALMOST 4cm.
I labored for 12 hours on pitocin and had a vaginal delivery! It is possible.
