Q regarding pg symptoms that could also be AF symptoms
I am asking for my sister who is on her 5th month of TTC.
Her period is due on Saturday. She feels extremely emotional right now, just like she does before AF.
Could feeling emotional at this point be a pg symptom due to hormones or is it most likely AF since it's the same way she feels every month?
If you usually feel emotional before AF, did you feel the same way before BFP?

emotional could be a symptom of pregnacy...but for me, the only symptom i had was slightly sore boobs, AF like cramps and a pos HPT.

I had same symptoms as you for both of my pgs. I'm not usually overly emotional before AF. I'm curious to see if those who are usually emotional before AF, were also that way before BFP.

I was always emotional before my period but I was not emotional before getting my BFP
But again, that is a symptom that can go both ways- so it's anybody's guess.

no way to know either way. it could equally be AF or pregnancy related.

i was actually a bit more emotional in the days before my bfp than i usually am right before AF.

I was very emotional right before my BFP. DH and I had actually gotten in a fight about having a little bit of a hard time conceiving and I was crying at the dinner table. I was convinced it was AF because I was so emotional. About 5 days later I got my BFP!

I thought for sure I was getting AF, cramps, pms and all. But my biggest sympton which I NEVER got with AF was sore boobies.

I agree. She could also be emotional b/c TTC is taking longer than she'd hoped and the stress of the 2WW can push anyone to the edge!

My main symptom in both pregnancies was that AF was coming. It felt this way earlier then days prior like a usual period.
