Boy name poll....
We are having such a hard time with boys name (dont know the sex yet).
DH loves Darren, I do too but it is a love or hate kinda name  some people  when we tell them
We also like Donovan (Donnie)
Keenan (family surname)
Thoughts 
ETA: Our lastname is uber Irish.

1 - love that your last name is uber irish! I knew I liked you!!
2 - I like Darren.
3 - I like Donovan, idk about donnie.. i just think of new kids on the block. I've only met one Donovan though and he was a bartender in jamaica... he was soo awesome. haha.
4 - I also like Keenan.
5 - I totally see your dilemma... bc I can't pick either!! Not even enough to vote on the poll!!!!
I keep repeating all the names to myself... and I THINK I MIGHT like the Donovan or Darren names better than Keenan.
I'm still chanting them though...
OK I think I'm going to go with Darren. haha. but they are all good names!! Not the run of the mill.. and that I love!!!
Don't worry about those who don't like the name. I get that too sometimes. it's inevitable.

Also I got the idea for Donovan from my SIL cousin and she is Jamaican haha--Donovan is a popular Jamaican name!'
It is so hard...girls names are so much easier, thanks for your input

My daughter is Kiera. Thats a girls name. Kieran is all boy!! I hate people!

Kiera/Ciara is the female version of Kieran/Ciaran. Kieran has been around for years! I know many adult Ciarans. Here is the meaning from an Irish baby name site:

DH actually wanted Darren but I didn't think that was going to sound good when my very Italian mom, grandmother aunts and uncles tried to pronounce it with their accents
I really like Donovan the most - although not sure if I like the Donnie nickname. Like a PP said I think of NKOTB.
Not sure why people would think Kieran is a girls name...I think boy right away when I hear it. I happen to love this name, I think handsome when I hear it.
My mom's very Irish next door neighbors have a son named Kieran and he is def a handsome little guy...black hair and blue blue eyes with freckles.

I like Darren a lot. I would have considered it but my DH is Aaron and that just sounded silly to me.
I also like Donovan, but not a fan of Donnie (I keep thinking Donnie Osmond)

I will admit I only know 2 ppl with the name kieran, and they're both girls.
I like donovan best.
