Im finding myself a little bummed...
When we got pregnant i was fine with either gender, i was sure the baby was a girl, i just had that "feeling" you know...we had our level 2 last week and it's definitely a boy. I have a 2 year old DD. We don't have alot of money so i have been getting rid of DD's baby clothes to make a little money for baby boy clothes, im finding myself bummed that im not having a girl, im a good mommy to my daughter and and a little apprehensive about being a mommy to a boy. I know i shouldn't feel this way but i can't help it. Am i just being crazy? Anyone else felt like this?

I have 2 boys and I can assure you they are lots of fun. I have had a few friends who had girls first, then found out they were having boys next and they were a little apprehensive and intimidated at the thought of little boys, so don't worry it's normal. Just give yourself time to adjust to and I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother to your son!
ETA: My friends who weren't sure about having boys are absolutely 100% in love with their sons!

U deff shouldn't feel bad about feeling this way! Secretly everyone has a tiny bit of a gender preference or at least a comfort level with either gender especially when it comes to the second child. However ppl would never ever admit it since it's such a tough thing to admit when so many ppl r struggeling to even ge pregnant. I honesltly not even so secretly always wanted a little girl but I wa honestly happy when we found out were having a boy an now I'm in love with him to pieces but a little part of me still jinks wow what am I going to do with him once he's older... Am I really cut out to be a mommy to a little boy...? Somehow u just always pictured myself raising a little girl... I know 100% that I'll be a little bummed as well if our second whenever that'll be will be another boy... But hey at the end of the day were all human and are allowed to feel however we feel but I'm sure that u'll fall in live with thy little guy as soon as u see him just as I did!!!!

I have two boys and couldn't imagine life any other way. It doesn't matter what the sex of the baby is. It's your child. Having a child already you know the unconditional love you feel for her. The same will be for your son - it doesn't matter if they are a boy or a girl -- they are your child and you will be amazed by how you love this little person.
As for clothes and stuff. I feel like baby items are so inexpensive - and so many people are generous when a baby is born. The Buy/Sell/Swap thread has so many amazing deals on there. Just keep looking and start stocking up.
It's normal to feel slighted or disappointed when you had a picture in your mind - but try to think about all the wonderful things there are about having a son.
My boys are such little mushes! They are my world. And, like you, I can honestly not picture myself a girl mommy -- but if I do go to a Level 2 again someday and find out that I have a healthy daughter, you can betcha that I'll be screaming it from the rooftops!

Re: Im finding myself a little bummed...
Someone posed a very similiar question on parenting the other day.
I thought gut instinct I was having a girl, and turns out I'm having a boy. I was confused at first like "wait, I was having a girl, I JUST KNEW IT" so it took a minute to adjust to knowing I was having a boy, but I couldn't think of having anything else.
Here's the link I was was referring to. She was given some really great advice!
