Growing out eyebrows

HOW?

Im a hairy beast as it is.

Last one who treated them, messed them up.

Its crazy how the shape changes how you look and I dont like them right now.

Its SO hard to not touch them and after 2wks, I want to get them done already cause I have stray little hairs everywhere!

Re: Growing out eyebrows

My sister is always doing this because some idiot always messes them up (she also blames me for her having effed up eyebrows because I shaved them off when I was 5 Chat Icon )

she usually cleans up the area above and under a bit but just let's it grow (to thicken them out).

Mine are blondish brown but I pencil them in to make them look more complete..

I feel for you! Chat Icon hope they grow out quick!

I am going through this right nowChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

It's HORRIBLE.

I finally caved over the weekend and plucked a few that were long enough to braid!

She completely ruined my shape.

This is why I always do my eyebrows myself, but I keep my eyebrows thick so it's easy to maintain them, I barely pluck any, more like clean them up , whatever shape I have is what I was born with , lol.
Anyway, , few years ago I had them done at a salon and the woman totally ruined them, she made them so thin, it took me about 6 weeks or so to grow them out, it was a sad, sad time in my life Chat Icon
I would give it another week or two before you try to do anything with them.
Good luck .

Threading really, really helps with making your brows look thicker and more shapely. I'll never go back to waxing.

It stinks. I just plucked for the last time this morning. They are all funky and need a mew start. Last time, i swear it took like 3 months. Chat Icon

Re: Growing out eyebrows

i started eyebrow rehab last summer and my brows are amazing now. I go to a brow specialist at Anastasia Sephora in Times Square, its $32 each session but so worth it. Go to a professional!

I agree, it has transformed my brows. Chat Icon

While growing out just clean up the middle a bit. It is a long, annoying process but so worth it!!

Re: Growing out eyebrows

I grow mine out every 6 months or so. I grow hair very fast, so it doesn't take long but I am so furry, I hate it. I like to get a fresh shaping though.

Re: Growing out eyebrows

I normally go to Sephora in Times Square to get them done at the Anastasia Brow Studio and they do a good job. They do your eyebrows to go with the frame of your face and it is worth the $32. No overplucking or mistake at all.

Now that I am home on maternity leave I just get them threaded until I return to work when I can head back to Sephora to get my eyebrows done.

How about using something like this to help your eyebrows to grow out? You can purchase it at Sephora.

Brow enhancing serum

Re: Growing out eyebrows

I go to the Benefit brow bar in Macy's at Roosevelt Field. I think they charge $20, and they do a great job. I will never go back to one of those nail places again, you never know what you are going to get there.

Re: Growing out eyebrows

i agree with threading. if the girl knows what she's doing, she'll be able to shape them as they are now in a flattering way as they grow out.

Re: Growing out eyebrows

Threading is the best way to go! The Indian culture is all about natural-looking and shape your brows over your brow bone. If you let them grow out for 4-5 weeks and deal with the stray hairs and go to a GOOD threading place, they will start the process of fixing them for you. I went through the same thing and my eyebrows are finally perfect!

Re: Growing out eyebrows

I have been going to Anastasia at Nordstrom, yes its 30 dollars which is very expensive but they make them perfectly even.
Everytime i would get them threaded one was always a little different then the other.

They use a stencil and go with the shape of your face, it takes about 20 minutes

Me too!!! I would love to have them done by a professional.

Just as an FYI: I get my eyes threaded and the ONE time I use a different girl (same salon) she messed them up!

Try to find a Sephora that may have the Anastasia Eyebrow Studio. They charge $32 but it is totally worth it. I go to the one in Times Square.

My sister goes there and her eyebrows look great. She started going there because her eyebrows were a mess. Slowly but surely they shaped them at each session and now they look awesome.
