Yes!
I dont have a clue about Vegas so i have a few questions... How long should we stay?
I've personally never stayed longer than 4 days, and didn't feel rushed... depending on how much you want to do and how long of a vaca you're looking for, I'd say a week would be good.
Where should we stay?
As close to the center of the strip as possible.
What are some must do must see things? Thanks!!!
Walk the strip, see the gorgeous casinos (walk around the Venetian!), take in a show (there are concerts, off-Broadway, comedy tours...), watch the fountain show at the Bellagio, eat at one of MANY fabulous restaurants (sunset dinner at the restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere can't be beat!), go shopping, lounge at the pool, go clubbing, gamble a little... and if you have extra time, you could always take a day trip to the Grand Canyon or the Hoover Dam...

Re: VEGAS
September is a great time... like PP said, 4 days is perfect... not too long that you run out of money... and plenty of time to still see a ton of stuff...
I prefer the MGM, Luxor, NY NY end of the strip... imo it doesnt really matter where you stay it doesnt take long to get from one end to the other...
If you can try and go to the old Strip at Freemont Street...

I agree. I literally just got back from Caesar's but I actually would have preferred to be closer to the hotels you are referring to. I did take a suggestion from LIF and I went to the Bellagio spa, which was a very easy walk from Caesar's and was heavenly!!!!! I wish I had stayed the weekend because there were shows that were only in town during the weekend (Dana Carvey, for one). I don't know how the rooms are at NY NY but I love the whole theme and the fact that you can get from one end of NYC to the other a lot more quickly in Vegas than in the real NYC !!!!
