Re: zofran
I took it and my doc said it's perfectly safe. Makes you constipated though.

Re: zofran
I have been taking it for a week and it has changed my world, but has made me more constipated then I already was TMI sorry.
But I only agreed to take it after my Dr said she took it for her first and third pregnancy.

Re: zofran
I took it, got me through the first 20 weeks. I only started it after I had lost 16 lbs. So far so good.

I took it from 7-22 weeks. I agree about the constipation.

Re: zofran
It's def. safe, my doctor only prescribes it if you lose a significant amount of weight from being sick.

Re: zofran
i don't have any constipation issues on it, but i drink a TON of water, so that may help. I was on it from week 9 through week 35 with DS1, and on it again from week 8 this time.

Re: zofran
Was on it with #1 from 6weeks until about 2 weeks into 2nd trim.
6 weeks came with this one and BAM, it came back, I'm on it again.
I don't have any side effects from it. Except last night I took half of one when I got home b/c I couldn't deal and I was SO dizzy! THat was the first time, that's ever happened to me.

Re: zofran
I took it from pretty early on (my dr. said they wouldn't give it to me unless it was safe...and my doc took it too) and I think I stayed on until about 14 or 15 weeks (I gradually reduced my dosage). Sometimes I was able to stop taking it for a week or so and get through the days. I would start taking it again when it got really bad.
Only towards the end did I get the constipation...I made sure to eat a salad and a ton of fruit everyday. I also kept prune juice in the house. But I'll take constipation over the nausea any day!
