Level 2 - How do I make sure this baby's moving?
At my 12 weeks sono the baby was fast asleep - I mean not moving at all. I was kinda bummed.
So in an hour I have my level 2 and want to ensure this baby is bouncing! I'm thinking a tall glass of orange juice. I had a big bowl of cereal. Anything else I can down quick to ensure a hyper baby?

OJ should do the trick! Just prep yourself for a frustrated Technician

Yes - I agree. OJ is a good thing.
But remember that if the baby is moving around like crazy, the tech can possibly not get all the measurements they need and get annoyed quickly.

For a less-sugary option, I would have an orange. Every time I have an orange, the babies go nuts! A few months ago, I had a jolly rancher and the same thing happened.
Good luck! Have fun

My was less than enthused at my level II, I had the OJ and then I drank a few glasses of ice water, walked around a bit and he eventually he showed the goods but it took a bit Oj and all. Good Luck!!

I drank OJ before my appointment and she did not cooperate - was face down - i had to go for a walk and come back and thankfully she had flipped.

In addition to OJ, my technician strongly recommends that you not go in on an empty stomach. I forgot to eat breakfast at my last sono, and he wasn't nearly as active as he usually is.

Re: Level 2 - How do I make sure this baby's moving?
It worked! The baby was moving a lot - it was so cute! But unfortunately the little was facing down and backwards/kinda to the right, so no cute profile pic! We saw the face in a front facing way though. The tech said "Wow, it's down low." So THAT's why I have to pee all the time! It's head is like resting on my bladder like a pillow! I wish I could visit the baby every day. So sad I have to wait until 32 weeks for the next one!

I had juice before my 16w and 20w anatomy scans and both times the tech commented that the baby was moving around a lot but we still got very clear gender shots both times and the techs were able to get all measurements in 30-45 minutes.
