I didn't register for one but my mom and dad are buying it for us. It will probably be something like this but with lighter colors.

I registered for (and got) this one too! I like that it has the clear mesh on the sides so I can see in while Im laying in bed.

Love this style bassinet! We are using a bassinet that has been in the family for years - with this traditional shape. I found a few sites online that sell skirt/hood sets and will be dolling up our basic bassinet.

We are just using the bassinet attachment that comes with our stroller. we may buy a rocking base for it

we were undecided too since the baby's room is steps from ours but we registered at BBB for Nature's Purest "hug me" bassinet - made out of all organic cottons and such it was only $79....it just got purchased off our registry too :)

Had a gorgeous belini bassinet hand me down that was my nephews...DD did not sleep one night in that thing - so glad I spent no money on it.
she slept every night for her first 4 mos of life in the Fisher Price Newborn Rock and Play Sleeper.
Don't waste your money on a bassinet!!!

a friend just told us to get the Fisher Price Newborn Rocker!! She swore by it!! I think I'm going to add it to our registry I had been debating the bassinet, and was about to take it off the registry and what do you know that was the first thing bought off our registry this past weekend LOL!!
