Re: Anyone live in Cutchogue?
My cousin grew up in Cutchogue (my aunt still lives there) and my BF from college grew up in Mattituck (same school district--Mattituck/Cutchogue). I spent a lot of time in the summer out there.
Pros: Gorgeous! Not as busy during the winter
Cons: Summer traffic is awful Remote--far drive to shopping/grocery, etc. (they drove to Tanger for most shopping, but I think the nearest mall is Smithaven, which is like 45 mins away)

Re: Anyone live in Cutchogue?
omg again with the similarities lol. My bff is originally from Amityville but moved to Cutchogue with her family a few years ago. I'm going to be talking to her today and I'll ask her some pros and cons for you but from what I know already It's super beautiful there, it's like Amityville in the aspect that everyone knows everyone and everyone is related to each other and no one ever leaves lol

Re: Anyone live in Cutchogue?
My grandmother has lived out there for over 35 years. Its soo pretty and quite, The neighborhoods are all nice and the beaches are good too, However it is prety far out there its like a 20 min ride to 7-11 and thats on a good day. lol Summer traffic sucks big time but if u dont mind having to take a 15/20 min drive to the grocey store then go for it. My dh would love to live out there but its just too far out for my liking.

Re: Anyone live in Cutchogue?
my parents have a home there, in nassau point. they sold their previous home there (in the fleet's neck area) last year. they looooove it. like others have said though, it's far away from certain things, and the traffic is a nightmare in the summer. my parents have complained a few times (particularly in their new house) that it's sometimes TOO quiet in the dead of winter. very beautiful area though.
