When it rains....it pours

I'm 37w4d today and have had the week from hell already! My cat (who is my favorite....although I know I shouldn't say that lol) has been super sick, and had to be admitted to the animal hospital for overnight testing. We've been so tight on money lately between the baby coming and moving into a new house that needs a lot of finish work. The vet bill can cost anywhere between $800 to $1600!!!! And that doesn't include the $400 from yesterday. Basically money we don't have. Then when I came home today to get the cat to bring her to the hospital I go to the basement to bring up the cat carrier to find that my brand new boiler broke in the basement....we have no heat and water in the basement....Seriously....when it rains, it pours. I've been crying since I got home over my cat (sorry if you think I'm crazy....but I love her like family!). Thank god this is my last week of work or else I'd jump!

I was just thinking the same thing. When it rains it pours! If it makes you feel better, I'm def having one of those days along with you! But good news is that there are only 4 1/2 hrs left in this day and tomorrow is a new one! Feel better!

Oh no, I hope your cat feels better soon. I would totally be the same way if it were our dog. She was hospitalized last summer and it was so expensive so I feel your pain. Feel better!!

not crazy at all. we have a terminally ill cat who is nearing the end and it's heartbreaking. and another cat who i accidentally kicked to the floor when i got out of bed to pee on sunday night in the middle of the night - i was so distraught that i was up for an hour and a half sitting with her to make sure she was OK! (she fell to the floor while still sleeping so she didn't have time to land on her feet, she was still sprawled out when i jumped to get her. and she's 17.)

so i totally know how you must be feeling. i hope your kitty gets better.

and i'm sorry about the boiler too.

Hope your cat gets better...I totally understand b/c I LOVE my dog like family...sorry this is all happening at once...but at least the LO isn't here yet...
