All night I had a poking in my belly...on the right side of my belly button while watching TV. It was pretty consistent all night...
I never had gas pains like this before so I am guessing it is the baby but I am only 14w...wdyt??? TY

I'm 19 weeks and just started feeling the baby last week. And it's definitely not a "poking" - it's more like a gurgling, kind of like bubbles.
Your baby weighs like 3 ounces, I don't think it's strong enough to poke yet! And at 14 weeks, your uterus is still a few inches below your bellybutton. It only reaches bellybutton height at about 20 weeks.
In a few weeks, you'll start noticing a funny bubbling kind of feeling way down low, by your bikini line. You're almost there!

Re: Is this the baby??? or gas?? lol
I had that around 15 weeks, and have been feeling the baby ever since, so it is most likely the baby
Everyone feels the baby at different times, some early some late, I was early at 15 weeks, and it was pretty consistant at 16-17 weeks, now at 25 weeks she is a kickboxing champ.

I'm only 12 1/2 weeks, but I've been getting a pinching near my belly button. I read it was stretching.

Oh no that sounds painful
My mom was like-you better hope that is NOT the baby bc if you feel it now, imagine how it will feel when they baby weighs in pounds

It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels like something poking at you from the inside, and rolling and turning lol, but it's a lot she is super active lol I am sure it won't be as comforting as she gets bigger, and hopefully at that point she is calmer cause if she continues like this, when I am 30 something weeks its def going to be uncomfortable.

Re: Is this the baby??? or gas?? lol
I first started feeling the baby at 18w... it was VERY low and was more like little bubbles or mini spasms that would come and go and appear in different places. all very low though, a few inches below my belly button. I still haven't felt anything high up by my belly button and I am 19w4d

Re: Is this the baby??? or gas?? lol
Everyone feels the baby at different points in their pregnancy so it could be. But in the beginning it felt more like bubbles popping or an inch worm crawling around and less like an actual poke. I didn't feel poking until about 24 weeks (around the time Dh could feel it too). It almost feels like a muscle spasm in the beginning.
