Are you registering for clothes?
Or are you just going to let people pick what they want?
I want to register for a whole bunch of sizes to last us awhile, but i don't know if it's a good idea to register for clothes at all since the selection might be different when they go?

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
I wouldn't bother with clothes. Maybe a few packages of plain onesies. Clothes are so difficult to get in store when you are looking for a specific outfit off someones registry. To be honest, if I see clothes on a registry, I skip right over it.
People will get you outfits that they want to get and usually will be good about sizes. In the end once the baby is here, it's pretty easy to buy more clothing as needed.

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
I'm not registering for clothes for a couple of reasons. One, we are team green. Two, I would rather people buy me things I'm going to need equipment-wise as opposed to clothes because you know when the baby is born you will be inundated with clothing. I figure I will end up returniing some of the stuff I get then for clothing for a little bit of an older baby.
I do plan on registering for plain white onesies in all sizes.

We registered for a couple of things, realizing that many people would just go out and buy whatever they wanted us to have.

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
I put a few items on the registry. Only because it's a baby girl and baby girl clothes are sooooo cute that I couldn't resist scanning some of them!!
I'm hoping more for the other items though... instead of clothes. Just because I NEED those items more than clothes.
I also purchased some clothing items already. When carters had that 50% off sale...and I did some clearance shopping at BRU.

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
i only put some onesies on my registry in different sizes and styles. i figure most people will buy clothes on their own anyway cause no one can resist buying little baby clothes lol. i've also already purchased a few items on my own too.

Ditto. People like buying baby clothes so if they wanna buy u clothes, they are not even going to look at your registry.

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
Don't bother with clothes unless its plain onesies in assorted sizes.
You'd be surprised at how many people buy an outfit as an "extra" to another item.

A few things that we really liked. We know people are going to get us a ton of cute outfits so we didn't go overboard.

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
We registered for a small amount of clothes. 2 onesie sets, one zip up with feet, one pack of side snap white tops, and a sleepsack.
I'm really picky about baby clothes and some people including myself (blush) already bought us some so I didn't want to register for much, but it's something cheap and I'm really picky so hopefully people will keep in mind what we like ... Even though I expect them to just buy what they want ;)

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
I intentionally didn't register for a stitch of clothing. Had my shower yesterday, and don't need clothes for the foreseeable future.....nearly everyone got me some sort of clothing in addition to whatever other gift they got us.
Imwashing everything now, and have 3 full sized loads to do.....and that doesn't include all the blankets and towels I got!

Re: Are you registering for clothes?
Don't register for clothes!!!!!!!!!! I got tons at my shower. People will buy them regardless. I registered for a bath robe and I shouldn't have even done that. Now I have 4!!!!!!!!! I would not register for anything clothing related, not even onesies. Trust me you will get more than you need!!!
