2 Crazy stories!...UPDATE with more (you will want to read these, esp the bank robbery one!)... what a nutty week!!!!!

Sooo.....
Last night... one of my cats puked in my bed... (never happened before) and of course it was on my side of the bed. UGH gross. So of course I get up to clean it. As I'm cleaning it I start gagging... serious gagging.
What happens?
I PUKE! On the rug right next to my bed.
What do I do now?
Sit on the floor next to my puke and start hysterically crying!

DH is laying in bed watching me... and just looking at me like I'm crazy while he's trying hard not to just laugh at me. He did manage to ask "What's wrong with you? Why are you crying?"
I really had no answer, but couldn't stop crying.

OK so story 2:
For the past few days I really haven't felt little girl move. Really at all. So DH tells me to call the dr. I call the dr thinking they are going to give me advice or tell me some information. BUT instead they tell me to go go L&D at LIJ.

So we go to L&D... they monitor her heart for like 40 minutes... heart beat is fine. You can even hear movements on the monitor... but I cannot feel a single thing. They were even asking me if I could feel this or that movement... I literally felt NOTHING at all.
So they hook me up to a sono... turns out I can't feel anything because my placenta is basically blocking everything. My placenta is in the front on the left and under my belly button. The baby's legs and most of the torso are completely under the placenta. On my right side is her head and shoulders... so if she were to lets say start head banging, I would be able to feel that. But any other movement is going into the placenta.

They also checked to see that she's still a she!!! And she sure is!!!!

They were so nice there.... and it was nice we got to see the layout and where the parking for the main entrance is, etc. My name is also not in their system. I didn't have to wait long at all to get a room to be monitored. And my dr was there so he came in to see me at the end.

Crazy 2 days I've had!!!

UPDATES:
So at 5 am the electricity goes out. I think it's a fuze or something. I wake DH, aka the log. The electricity comes back on... goes out again... comes back and out again then it starts flickering. I beg him to go check it out in the basement. He moves slowly... like a hibernating bear.
I tell him "what if this starts a fire?" He tells me to be serious. Ha! I was like electrical issues are a HUGE cause of fires!!! Anyway he goes to the basement to check it out and the fuze box is fine... but the electricity is totally out.
I'm now a nervous wreck... thinking a fire is going to happen. With my heart beating through my chest, I start frantically thinking in the dark.... I'm coming up with a game plan of how I would get out of here should my pregnant nose smell any smoke! I decide I'd run to the closet room first to get 2 bags... then I'd grab my cell phone on the way to the living room to get my cats and throw them in the bags (lately one cat has been sleeping in a box and the other on the couch). Then I think on my way out the door, I'll grab my bag bc my ID, money, and debit card is in there.... and I don't want to have to go to the DMV on top of having my home burn down.
These are literally my serious thoughts going on in my head.
I stayed up for over an hour smelling for smoke.
Thankfully no fire.
They are having problems downstairs (2 family house) with their electricity, but not as bad as it is up here. I have NO electricity while they have some. Since their stove wouldn't go on, they called the fire dept. So the FDNY just came here.
OY. But it's an electrical problem... so they left shortly after.
Now we are waiting for an electrical dude to come fix this. I hope the food in my fridge doesn't go bad. I still have no electricity so I'm using my laptop battery, which means I can't stay online for long.

The kick off to this strange and bizarre week was Tuesday when my mother called me around 5pm to tell me she was robbed at work. In a bank. The robber came up to her and yelled at her to give him the money. He didn't give her a note or anything... so she assumed he was just nuts and wanted to to a withdrawal. since he had some paper visibly in his hand... she patiently awaited him to hand it to her. He started yelling for money again. She then realized.. "OH I AM BEING ROBBED". OK so she gives him money.
As he was running out the door, he dropped that paper of his. A customer in the bank starts yelling "sir, sir you dropped your paper"; obviously she had no clue he just robbed the bank. He didn't turn around and just kept running.
What was that paper?
Parole paperwork. Complete with his name, address and ssn. He was just out of his parole appt and stopped to rob a bank on his way home. He had robbed 3 branches of the same bank in the last week.
They pull up his mug shot... which matches the camera pictures of him. Off to jail he goes.

You really cannot make this up. though out of order... this has been my week.... one story a day. haha!!

I've only puked a few times in the 1st trimester... and not since then. I'm a few days shy of 27 weeks... so it just came up out of nowhere!!!

<3 you kerri!!!!!

aww... hiding! haha!!
Her head is out though.... but her body is hiding... she's not going to be very good at peek a boo or hide and seek if she plans to play this way! haha!

it's funny though... but even as I was going to the hospital.. I was actually thinking.. "Oh she's fine"... I credit the heart monitor for that though. Since I heart her heart beating, it gave me a sense of relief.

John actually told the nurses that we used the heart monitor to make sure she was OK and they were like "don't rely on those... they don't monitor anything and you won't know if you have a normal heartbeat of not". I never thought about that... I'm just happy to have A heartbeat! I'm still going to check with the doppler to ease my nerves when need be. I get nutty.
