I hope this makes sense.

did you have to let the vendor know the costco photo card size so tey make it that size? or it doesnt matter you can just upload it to costco and it adjusts?

So you just ordered reg photo prints? And not their large ones (50 for $14.99)?

Re: If you got custom invites (File) on etsy and then used Costco

I have ordered both the 5x7 size and the larger Costco greeting card size.

I only order 5x7's if I don't need too many cards, because if you purchase the 5x7 card size they will not include envelopes, so you will have to go out and purchase 5x7 envelopes as well. It is $14.99 for 50 greeting cards (and envelopes!) so if you need a lot of cards the greeting size card they offer is the way to go. If you do choose to use the larger (greeting card)print size, let your Etsy vendor know because they will create a larger file for you. If they send you a file designed for a 5x7 card, it will be distorted. I have ordered files in the greeting card size from a few Etsy vendors!

if you need a bunch I would give the vendor the greeting card size 6 x 7.5 bec it is not the typical size...and the free enveloped that comes with it is def worth it!

Yes! Just let the Etsy vendor know you need the card designed to print at the greeting card size (6x 7 1/2) and then you can upload it right to the Costco website. If you go under greeting cards there is a tab labeled "more" and under that tab you will find a custom template option to upload your own 6x 71/2 image (as opposed to the premade cards they have). Or you can do it in store. For $14.99 you will get the 50 cards and envelopes, and if you need more than 50 cards and envelopes you can add them in incremenets of 25 cards and envelopes for 5.49 for each additional set. It is the cheapest that I have found. If you are on the Costco website click on "photo" and then "log into photo center" and under the store tab you will see the option for the greeting cards.

No, their greeting cards are 6x7 1/2.

Here is a link!

Costco Greeting Cards

If you click on the tab labeled "more" you will see the option for a custom template at the bottom of the page, which will allow you to upload your own invitation/card if you already have one designed.

as someone who designs on etsy i always ask where the person is buying from so i can check the resolution/sizing.
