Re: has anyone custom ordered something from etsy & then didn't like it?
I got a custom jacket made. I don't know maybe the measurements I sent it where right, but it didn't fit the way I expected. But it fit, and actually looked okay, I wore it once for an hour, but felt like not what I was paying for, and I'll probably wont wear it again. anyway I'm still deciding what to to do ...
I feel wrong returning it, it was custom made and its not like they can take it apart and remake it, and even if they could they should at least be paid for the work.
I think its the risk you run with custom work. Depending on who sold you may just tell them how the custom item worked out for you, so that they know for future reference.

Talk to them! Tell them how you feel about the item, they might give you a % off or even re-do an item for you! Who know they might even give a refund to avoid neg feedback. Just let them know either way as a seller I'd like to know if something wasn't up to par.
