Anyone else on here take Synthroid?
Just wondering a couple of things.
Did you need to have your dosage adjusted during pregnancy?
Did you get your levels monitored by your endo directly, or did your ob/gyn monitor it through the blood they take anyway?

I haven't needed it changed yet and my ob monitors it every trimester.

thank you. my ob said it was normal (from the blood i had taken at the last appointment) - i was just questioning whether i am "supposed" to notify my endo.

your OB should monitor your blood every few months and adjust as needed

Every six weeks I get bloods run and go to the endo. Results are sent to both OB and endo. I also have been having to increase by 12 mg each visit. I am monitored very closely.

I have gotten my blood done every month and my endo has adjusted my synthroid twice I went from 137 to 150 and now am stable at 175. My endo gives me copies of my blood results to give to my OB.

my endo monitors. I'm 17 weeks now, and so far my dosage has been changed three times. I started at 112 and am now at 200. Endo checks blood every 4-6 weeks.

I always had normal thyroid until i got pregnant, they gave me what they call a baby dose and tested by levels again and my thyroid was normal so for now i stay at this dose but he said it may change as my pregnancy progresses.
