WWYD - highchair
so we reluctantly registered for a high chair (just didnt see the need right now and didn't really have the space for it) and went with the recommendation of the lady at BBB and went with the Peg Perego Prima Papa. Its got only so so (maybe even more negative) reviews...
now, it turns out that a close family friend has bought it for us and said that the model that is $30 more looked much nicer and would upgrade the highchair for us if we wanted her too...
initially my plan had been to return it if someone bought it for us...but now that its someone so close to the family i feel a bit guilty but for that money i'd rather have my changing table or the citi mini...
however, if we aren't going to return it the high chair that is $30 more is better from what i can tell....
so if you are still reading...
do i say yes to the upgrade or do i say no and is it okay to return something like that and use the credit towards something else?
Updated-
Now after reading baby bargains which i should have done a long time ago i really think i want to return this high chair and get a fischer price one...

if you let your friend upgrade the highchair, can you store it somewhere before you are able to use it? you're going to need one eventually, i think i would just try to store it in the meantime.

Re: WWYD - highchair
I never bothered with a highchair. We just used the Fisher Price Booster seat. It is a huge space saver as it goes right on an existing chair. We used it from about 6 months until he was tall enough to sit at the table (a little over 2).
Will said family friend be at your house often? If not I'd just return it and move on, they'd never really know.
