Internal exams
So I had my first internal exam yesterday. The dr said the baby is in position and all looks good. My question is, did it hurt when you had the exam? It was super uncomfortable and hurt a bit....is this normal?

This is my 4th baby and they still really hurt me to have done.

That makes me feel better. I was afraid if they were that uncomfortable for me now, that I'd die from the childbirth pain....lol I guess that's not the case since you're on #4

I've had 3 so far and they hurt each time but I think it's less and less as I've had them done. Don't know if it has anything to do with me dilating or not.
They are def not fun tho. I can't imagine what pushing this baby out is going to be like

I had one yesterday. I wouldn't say it was painful, but definitely uncomfortable and I felt a lot of pressure.

The only time my internals really hurt was when I was in labor.

Definitely more uncomfortable then painful....just not a good time at all! Glad to know that's normal.
