Is there an "introduce yourself" thread?
Well, if there is, then sorry to to post this here!
If not, then let me start by saying that my Wife frequents this message board a lot, and I mean a lot.
She is always feeding me information that she gathers here, and I just wanted to say thanks.
Thanks to all the wonderful people here that have helped her out with priceless advice and criticism.
Having our first Daughter around 19 months ago was very scary, for me at least. Being a "guy", I tend to not express feelings, fears or thoughts. Simply because not many "guys" give an open ear to that sort of stuff. I lost my Dad at a young age and haven't really confided in anyone since then.
The amount of help my wife received here was amazing. It seemed like every speedbump & hurdle was met with care, concern and advice. Thank you for that.
So I will stop blabbering here, and just say that my name is Joe. I might not have much to offer in the "family" field, but I am an expert in many areas of telecommunications, computer engineering & I also own a Photography studio. So if you see me hoping in and out a little, I just want to try and give back a little, for all the help that was given to wifey.
Take it easy on me, I have a lot to learn, and I hope to not step on any toes here.
Thanks for reading, and I hope wifey doesn't get too mad at me for posting this. I am sure she will.

Hey, Joe.
There's a few guys on here, and we can always use some more. I get a lot of good info on this board as well. It's not just for women.
Especially if you know a lot about photography. That's a popular topic on these boards.

I am Joey's "wifey" LOL.... and Joey writes the truth - I have gained so much valuable information from these boards! And although I may only know a few of you IRL - I feel like I know so many more of you from your open armed and open minded honesty.
