Not looking for a debate or drama  (I know this topic can spark that for some reason). Just looking to see who is...
If so do you plan on taking a breast feeding class?

i am still really early so i have plenty of time to decide but as of right now i am leaning towards breastfeeding. I am just nervous bc I am not sure how it works with twins!

I was heartbroken when I couldn't -- I know what you mean. Just don't blame yourself. Apparently 5% of women truly cannot because of hormonal issues. There are a zillion other reasons too but that's what happened to me. Lord knows I tried. She latched great. We went 6 weeks but I never got a supply. At least we got some bonding in. Thank goodness she's healthy.

i do plan to breastfeed. i at least want to try, but if it's not working out for her or for me, i dont think i will take it personally. the most we can do is try cause we don't know what will happen when the time comes!
i will be signing up for a breastfeeding class to learn as much as i can about it. but i'm not going to buy a pump until im sure that it's working out.

my plan is to breastfeed/pump. and myabe supplement formula if i have to.
i would like to take a breastfeeding class. i think BRU does a free one every week. i may check that out and if i feel i need more my hospital does one for $50

I am still BFing my DC who is now over a year and I will BF this next one too! I def recommend taking a class if you plan to. I found it so helpful. And the LC who taught it encouraged us to contact her with any questions we had when the time came. I emailed her 3 or 4 different times and she was so helpful!

Im definitely going to try. Its not easy. Hopefully it works out. But i also know that i plan on switching to formulas after 2 months to get the baby used to the bottle before i go back to work.

I plan to, but am also being realistic and know that it may not work out. That's why I'm not getting a pump beforehand. I want to see if we can establish BFing first. And yes, I plan to take a class.

I plan to. I'm not going to take a class, but my pediatrician has lactation consultant on staff so if I'm having any problems I can just call up and go there.

I tried with Ds and it just didn't work out for me for a variety of reasons. I will not be BFing DC#2, we'll go straight to FF.

I definitely plan on BFing and pumping...I know either of the hospitals I would deliver at would have LCs on staff, my local hospital has a weekly support group and we have recommendations for LCs after should I need it...if, heaven forbid, something happens and I am completely unable, then it will be ok as I know I would have tried...

I BFed DD for 21 months and it was the best experience of my life. I absolutely plan to do it with DC # 2.

I am still BF DS and he is 12.5 months old and 8 weeks preg with DC#2 so I am definitely breastfeeding him/her as well. I am contemplating tandem nursing both of them but plan to take cues from DS over the next few months to see if he wants to wean or not.
