I'm just putting it out there... (TMI post)

I can not believe how much pain my vajayjay is in! It is not a shooting pain that comes and goes. It is pretty constant and almost feels swollen. Last night I was practically in tears because I couldn't even walk to the bathroom. I'm only 22 weeks. If I have to deal with this for the next 18 weeks we're going to have major problems.

Anyone deal with this or know what's causing it? I don't see the OB until next Thursday and don't want to call his office and tell the front office staff what the issue is.Chat Icon Chat Icon

I can't imagine being in that much pain all the time! Definitely ask your doctor, maybe there are some exercises you can do to help alleviate the pain Chat Icon

I would ask my dr. although it could be things moving and shifting around to make room for the growing baby.

I know in the 3rd tri this sometimes happens when the baby makes his/her way down there and leans on ur nerves....it's quite lovely.

Honestly, I have been like that the last couple of weeks, it wasn't really bad until the last couple of days....but I am 31 weeks.

I would call the office, if it is too much...I am sure they have heard some good stories at the desk and what you are asking is nothing to what they have heard before Chat Icon

I would call the OB but it is prob the baby sitting on a nerve.
When I get weird, sharp pains the Dr says to constantly try to change positions to see if you can move the baby

I've been there.

and sometimes it's better,other times it's worse.

It's usually worse when I am turning over in bed... or when I first get up in the morning.

I also had intense pains to the right of the vag... and that was a bad case of round ligament pain.

I have it too. It's more like pressure. I was told it's the increased blood flow. It's bad though. I never had this with dd.

ETA: It's when I'm rolling over in bed, laying down and getting up when it's REALLY REALLY bad.

I was not aware this happened. I am 28 weeks and wouldn't have even thought of that. I thought my back pain was bad. Chat Icon

I'm so relieved I'm not the only one, but a little nervous all of you have experienced it in the third trimester and I'm only in the second. Thanks for the feedback ladies!

Re: I'm just putting it out there... (TMI post)

I'm not pregnant right now, but I just wanted to comment on this thread. I had the same as you. I was in so much pain from like the 18th week on. I couldn't roll over in bed, put my pants on without wincing, etc.

I was convinced I had symphysis pubis dysfunction – although undiagnosed. Ask your OB if this is a viable diagnosis for you.

FYI - The moment I gave birth, the pain was GONE. Chat Icon
