appliances
So DH and I will have to put a lot of work into the house we are buying. Thus, we are not going to have much $ left over for appliances.
The house already has a dishwasher (its old and needs to be hooked up tot he sink but I am fine with that), an electric stove and an electric dryer. We are converting to gas right away, but will keep the stove and dryer until we can afford to get new ones
No washing machine, no fridge that is worth keeping. So we will need both of those. The cheapest that I have found in the standard places is like 400. And that is for the lowest of the low base model.
My question is: where would you recommend getting appliances for cheaper than that ? We are considering Craigslist and the PC Richards Outlet in Deer Park.
Any other recommendations?
TIA!

We normally go with PC Richards. They negotiate off the sticker price in most cases, so you can usually get a better deal than what you're seeing.

We've gotten great deals @ PC Richards as well. They've actually always beat the price of the Sears scratch & dent & the delivery was either free or cheaper than Sears, plus they took our old appliances away for free (Sears wanted $50).
