I live in Smithtown and as far as I know there is no college section.
There is a college section of Stony Brook, is that it maybe?

it's over by 25A & 50 Acre Road....Colgate Drive, Hofstra Drive, Lehigh Drive, Rutgers St...
it's kinda near St. James

Totally forgot about that area....I was thinking Commack area college section.
Thats a nice area as well. Agree with the PP, its really close to St James.

We looked at two houses in that area - I liked the homes (splanches) and I really liked the area! It definitely gave off a nice family-friendly vibe. It was just a bit too far northeast for us.

We had a deal for a house there & it fell through. The seller had 2 contracts because they got advice from a broker who was about to lose her license for other reasons. This was 6 years ago. It would have been a great place to live but there was no way I was going to buy from those people or deal with their broker after I found out. We continued to look in the area and then found something else that we love and we live a few miles from there.
