2yrs old and "fighting" naps
DD will be 2 tomorrow and it's been taking her 40mins to 1hr after I put her in her crib for her to go to sleep. No crying, just talking and rolling around. Do you think she is overtired or not tired enough? I have been putting her down later than usual & giving her lunch before her nap.

We had this with ds at the same age and it turned out he needed to wake up earlier. He had been waking at 7am. What worked for us was up at 6-6:30am nap was 12-2pm and bedtime 8pm. If we strayed form this he would have issues sleeping. He did give up his nap but not until he turned 3 and told me big boys that use the potty and sleep in their own beds are too big for naps. It was a fair trade lol

my DS goes through these phases were he won't nap for a few days, then he'll go back to napping normal times. I just kept to the schedule.
