Cloth diapering Moms , Mom2B question please help!
I plan on cloth diapering. I know these questions have been asked a million times but I just have a few.
Did you use regular baby wipes, or wash clothes?
Do all cloth diapers have inserts?
I plan to buy this sample pack for the first month can you tell me if it has everything I need? Sample Pack
I also plan on getting this
If you have it does it do what it needs to do?

Re: Cloth diapering Moms , Mom2B question please help!
To answer some questions... I made my own wipes out of flannel but also use baby wash cloths. Only pocket diapers have inserts. We never used a diaper sprayer. Newborn poop is water soluable (at least Breast Fed poop is) so we never rinsed those but when solids start you just shake off in the toilet and off it goes
We only use Fuzzi Bunz pocket diapers, I haven't used the others shown. I do prefer snaps over velcro and perfect size over one size diapers. Hope that helps

there are a few types of cloth diapers. not all are inserts. of the brands in your sample back, I've used bum genius. they are very good but the all in one takes very long to air dry (we air dry in our apt)
we use regular cloth folds with thirsties covers. we didn't get any other supplies or hardware, though I can see it making your life easier. and whatever you need to get to make your experience better, i say get it.
welcome to the wonderful and inexpensive world of cloth diapering!!

I used prefolds to start - you are going to need more than to start - you need like 12 diapers for newborns pluas mattering on your babies some are too big right away
prefolds are the cheapest but hardest - ifigured if i did not mind those i could do cloth
i had 24 infant prefolds and a few covers bummis and thisties size x-small and small to start - and a few snappis
i got a few all in one - bum genuis and thirsties size small - i used those for the doctor visits - i don't like the thirsties did not hold much
i love bum genuis as my night time daiper - i can stuff it so there is more soake in the front for my belly sleeping boy
i also love bum ware diapers- they are fitted size and nothing to stuff in - look just like a disposable and are pretty lean - clothes are hard to fit over the prefolds i found
i use liners and dump poop in the toilet -but i did not start using them still we started solids at 6 months - my son goes to daycare sothis works well for us.
i don't have a sprayer

i haven't started cloth diapering yet (DD is still too little for the ones i got--another pound and she'll be good!), but I have the bumgenius diaper sprayer. it was really easy to install, and it had ridiculously strong water pressure--it will definitely wash off the cloth diapers with ease!
