Recommend Your Moving Company
I am (hopefully) moving to Long Beach within the next month or so and need to hire a good movers. Any recommendations? And if you don't mind, will you tell me how much you paid? Totally understand if that's TMO.

Kens Moving...phenomenal!! I got their rec from on here and they were awesome.
Cost me 2500 but I have loads of stuff, and many large, heavy items.

No, just b/w counties in LI.
I don't believe it's expensive, more so the going rate for moving an 9 room house and all it's stuff, plus loads and loads of stuff in bins/boxes (I am talking over 125 bins/buckets/boxes). They give you an estimate (high and low estimate) and it is based on them coming to your home to see what you have to move.
Only an in house estimate can tell you what your high and low cost might be to move your stuff. Also they tell you how long it might take. Took movers over 9 hours, nonstop moving on their part. The 9 hrs included travel time and with stopping for 1/2 hr for lunch break to load old house and reload new house. So totally depends on your old home/new home and how much stuff you have.

Ed Keating is the owner and did our estimate. The guys were awesome, they took care of all of our stuff as if it were their own. We moved out of a third floor walkup and I don't think a single thing touched a wall. I can't rave enough about them.
