I'm freaking out. They did a fetal heart monitor on the baby because of my history of high blood pressure. my blood pressure is normal, thank god, but they picked up contractions on the test. They were concerned over me having pre term labor. The baby is 5 lbs already so I'm pretty nervous. I can't go into labor at 33 weeks; this is scary. They checked my cervical length to make sure it's not open and it's normal at 3.7?! Whatever that means. I have another test tomorrow morning and they are going to recheck the cervix to make sure there is no change. I can't help but worry though so if you could keep the baby and I in your prayers, I'd really appreciate it.
The same exact thing happened to me at 33 weeks....literally. I also have high BP and at a routine sono they sent me to L&D b/c my BP was high, they hooked me up to the monitor and saw i was contracting every 2 mins. My cervix was also long and closed at the time. They were worried about pre-term labor so they did a swab to check if Id go into labor within 2 weeks. It came back negative. Nothing ever happened after that. I was induced at 39w3d. (b/c of the BP)

thanks. They did the swab test today. The funny thing is my bp wasnt high at all. It was normal. They are going to recheck me tomorrow. They said dehydration can bring this on so I'm hoping that's what it is.
