Teeth brushing 13 months

DD is 13 months. I brush her teeth nightly and in the morning, have been doing it since she is 9-10 months with the Elmo Baby Orajel toothpaste. DH thinks Im crazy for brushing this young. Do you brush DC's teeth? How old?

I was doing it b4 Mason had teeth. THe Ped said to brush at night after the bottle to get the sugar off. We started him young just with a wash clothe on his gums.
Switched to a toothbrush around 10 months when he had his front teeth in and now he brushes his teeth. It's part of our nightly routine. Right b4 books he brushes them. I go in there and do a little better job though... LOL

I brush her teeth. well, i let her do most of it to get her in the habit. she loves it. in the morning i get both my girls at the sink and we all brush our teeth together. then i do a quick brush for them. at night, they bathe together and we all brush teeth during bath time. my older daughter asks for it.

ummm she had teeth..they need to be brushed....silly man!!!

DC is 12 months & we use the finger brush with baby oragel toothpaste on it every night/ He actually loves having his teeth brushed.

As soon as teeth come in they are vulnerable to getting cavities so as soon as they come it, that's when tooth brushing starts. We do Lauren in the morning and before bed, she loves it. DH will hold her in front of the bathroom mirror (she loves to smile and talk to herself) and she will open right up and watch me brush all her teeth in the mirror.
