Please recommend your COOL MIST Humidifier
Which cool mist humidifier do you use? DO you like it? I would like something with no filter to replace.
I just looked up the crane ones on BRU, you know the ones that look like animals. They are so cute but the reviews are not too good.

We have one of the animal ones that i think you are referring to. It's the Crane cool mist humidifier. We have the frog. I love it! Have no complaints about it! Super easy to clean, works great, no filter. Love it!

I have a Hunter one from Lowes and love it!!!
I had a Vicks Warm Mist before and hated it - it was so big and I got myself soaked each time I had to dump it!

We have the same one and love it! It holds a lot of water (like a gallon I think) and I can run it all night long on HIGH for TWO nights before needing to refill it. Best part, needs no filters.

Another vote for Air-O-Swiss!!! Pricey, but worth it. BB&B sells them, but I don't know if you can use their 20% coupons on them. Might be worth checking out.

I have a small Germ Guardian in my room (and a stupidly GINORMOUS one in Sean's room) - before I knew anything about them !!
The small one is fabulous - Easy to clean when needed, no filter and big enough to run for 2 nights w/o refilling.
It looks like a blue and white circle on a stand - it was like, $40
The big one is ok - no filter as well - but just a total PITA to unplug, move, clean etc etc - I'm going to ditch it for another small one when baby #2 comes

We have the Guardian as well. Really easy to clean, fill, etc. Works fine for DD's room.

easy to clean
quiet - TOO quiet, I was buying it as a white noise machine LOL you can't even tell it is on
works great!

The cranes just need to be cleaned and they don't tell you the best way to do it. I was ready to toss mine out then I tried my own way of deep cleaning it!
I finally figure out how to clean the damn things. Soak all parts in bleach for an hour, pour bleach inside and shake then let sit, rinse really well.
Then pour dry baking soda in there, the whole box. Shake so that the powder covers all inside parts. Pour boiling hot water, and shake and rinse, rinse, rise, wipe.
DONE spotless beautiful!
I do this every 2 weeks, its perfect.
