Is anyone lelse NOT in a rush for their pregnancy to end?

I am 34 weeks ...People keep saying to me "Bet you can't wait for it to be over huh ?"

Honestly, as uncomfortable as I am getting and as much as I want to meet this baby- I am in NO rush and am really hoping hard that I go to my scheduled c-section date...

For starters and one of my main reasons...., its quite probable (though I never say never ) that this will be my last pregnancy...Once this is over, I may never feel a little growing baby inside of me again

2nd, we are still very unprepared ...We are amidst construction here and our house is upside down

3rd- Because I already have 2 LO's at home, I really would be pleased if all goes as planned for my scheduled date so that I can be at ease that we have our sitter situation under control...I also am trying to enjoy some time with them before we add our new little bundle into the mix...

4th- I want my baby fully cooked

No reason to hope for an early arrival !!

Anyone else, or am I alone here ?

But maybe thats because I'm almost 38 weeks.
I have all the same reasons as you, but I am totally ready at this point.

I'm 34 weeks too but ready to have this baby

Even though things are not ready at home yet, its my second so I figure I could wing it if necessary

I also am commuting every day on the LIRR and subway so I think that it making me impatient too!

I'm 33 weeks and as much as I want to meet there is definitely a part of me that is right there with you. I've had a really easy pregnancy so far and I don't want to wish it away, time is just going by so fast. I love feeling her move around inside me and always having her with me. Plus I feel like there's still so much to do. But then I think about getting to hold her in my arms and see her pretty face and I want time to speed up again!!

At 39 weeks I'm cooked!! Although I'm trying for a VBAC so I can still go another 2 weeks

In a way i agree, I'm unsure if this is our last or not so the idea of never having another baby makes me want to enjoy this until the end.

However I've been feeling like someone ran me over with a Mack truck and I'm ready to meet my little girl not to mention I want my body back!!!

Nope, I'm the opposite. I'm also 34 weeks and this will probably also be my last pregnancy but I cannot wait for this pregnancy to be over!!!

I hate everything about pregnancy...except of course the bundle of joy at the end.

I'm with you!!! Totally not ready at all. I'm 30 weeks and will be induced in about 8 weeks and I have SOOOOOOOOOOO much to do. Poor kid is going to be sleeping in a box if he comes early! We are also under construction, and I'm trying to enjoy the last few moments with my girls before he shows up.

I'm in such a rush to get to the finish line I've broken every speed limit! I love feeling him all day long and as uncomfortable as I get seeing that belly move around and knowing my little person is in there baking away fills me with awe every time... BUT I'm so DONE! Not that I'm uncomfortable I just want to see him and hold him already! and all this anxiety and what not has to end, I can't take all the thoughts that are running through my head anymore I need him safe and sound on the outside already! I want DH to start experiencing him and becoming a family!!!

Im about 30wks and I cant wait! Maybe bc this is my 1st but im sooo excited to meet my LO - im hoping he comes just a couple weeks early lol

I'm both with you and then totally not with you. . I'm really starting to get uncomfortable and also just want to meet my LO but every now and then I realize how much I will miss having him inside me too and also my last taste of freedom to still go out with friends, go swimming etc. . I know those i will get back eventually but enjoying the last bit of DH and I together but I am also SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready to have him come out!!!!!!

I totally understand what you are saying. As much as I am super uncomfortable I love feeling the baby growing in my tummy. This will be my last pregnancy so as much as I don't want to feel like a whale anymore I'm not in a rush to give him up just yet!

im with u some days and would like a little more time.... im honestly a little nervous having a nb and a 17 month home - no help from anyone.. dh is getting just a few days off after the baby is born bc of a new position hes in.
i dont have everything ready - still need to wash a few more things etc. get my new car in this week, return my other lease.. OMG im panicking!!! LOL

however i am very uncomfortable and cant wait to meet this little one whos made breathing a chore for me i feel like im sooo out of breath all the time!

I'm not because I'm due in July. Just thinking about being 8-9 months pregnant after last year's heat makes me feel gross!

I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable so I'm ready to not have the constant pressure and the weird random pains. But I love being pregnant. I've had a great pregnancy so far and as weird as it can seem at times, and as painful as it can be at times, I love feeling Nugget move inside me.

I'm also so excited to see him, and have DH hold him and be Daddy. I don't want to have him early, but I can't wait for him to get here!!!

im only 20w but im not in any rush. i mean i cant wait to meet but it took me a really long time to get pregnant, and so far this pregnancy has been fairly uneventful. im not too uncomfortable (yet) and now that im well into the second tri, i feel pretty good most of the time. so im just trying to enjoy growing my !!

aw I understand what you mean by this may be your last! I'll be the same way when I believe I'm going through my last pregnancy!
enjoy and record every moment so you can relive it!!
and you never know, you may want a 4th!!! I want 3-4

I'm not in a rush... This is definitely my last... and when Thomas was born, I was completely overwhelmed and scared and I'm afraid of those feelings again...

LOL, not with you on this one and I'm only 11 weeks!! Just not a big fan of pregnancy and I'll be happy to never have to do it again!!

I'm 30 weeks (with twins). I love feeling the babies moving and clearly growing. I want to make it full term. I want to spend some quality 1 on 1 time with DS before his world gets turned upside down with 2 little sisters. I'm not ready to have 2 newborns in this house.

However, with that said. I have 50% of their laundry is washed, their room is ready, and I am done being uncomfortable. Mostly the constant hips hurting, lower back pain, "rolling" out of bed.

This is my last pregnancy (definitely) and for me that is bittersweet, but I am still ready to be done.

I am partly with you but definitely with you when I was 34 weeks. Everyone is like you are done, huh? Nope - I haven't made it past 37 weeks in either of mny last 2 pregnancies but seeing if I can get close to my due date this time. I am 37 weeks and about 5 days now....we shall see...I am in in construction as well and can't do much for this little one since my house is a dusty/dirty mess and the construction is life consuming!!! If I can go one more week - life will be in such better shape!! But the last 2 weeks - the pain has been stronger and my dr didn't think I would even hold out this long..so physically my body is getting ready to say ok but I know one more week or so would be nice.

for as much as I might complain I'm not ready to take delivery of a newborn yet...I hope every day I don't go into labor yet...lol.

in a rush just because I want to hold this baby already! But yeah, I do want to be prepared and have a fully cooked LO too.
I am only 17 weeks and I find myself (beyond my better judgement) wanting to rush to every new milestone. Like I couldnt wait to hear the heartbeat, then I was impatient for the 12w sono, now I am impatient for the Level II and feeling movement. I want to enjoy every minute but I kind of just want it to be July already!

In some ways yes and other ways no! My house is also in construction. Things are a mess! I just can't wait until the nursery is done and all this work is completed. I also love the me time and spending as much quality time with my Dh before the lo is here.

But in other ways I want her to just be here. I hated being pregnant and honestly just want to meet her already.

Im torn!!
On one hand I want time to fly so that I can have the babies already for a few reasons.
1- I cant wait to met them!!!!!!!
2- I am ALWAYS uncomfy. I have been sleeping on the couch for the last month...
3- I'm tired of people telling me what I can and can't do. I'm not used to being catered to and to be honest.. I don't like it all that much.
4- I cant wait to again. I'm practically a born again since the docs restricted us for doing anything since I was about 10 weeks. GRRRRRRRRRR
5- I cant wait to be able to enjoy the gym and my long walks again.
6- and last as selfish as this sounds.. I want my old body back (good luck right?!) I don't like looking down and not being able to see my feet.. or needing help to get off the couch.


But on the other hand... I love to feel them moving around inside me. I know they are safe in there and I want them to be nice and ready when they make their appearance.
