Ugh, I know I've vented about this before...but DEAR CLOTHING MANUFACTURERS

It is still cold outside, in case you have not noticed. I'm not sure if it's the manufacturers or the stores themselves, but they stock pile all of the spring stuff in the stores in FEBRUARY!!! Everything is short sleeved this and that. Meanwhile DS is going through a huge growth spurt and his warm PJ's no longer fit and his pants are starting to look like capris!!! Went to the store to look and it's all light stuff now. No PJ's in his size in the clearance rack...grrrr!!!!

yup, every year! i've learned to buy some in bigger sizes during the Jan. clearance sales. Luckily, I've always been able to predict DD1's sizes...she is such a pixie! DD2 is very big, but she has all of DD1's hand me downs. You may have to hunt a bit to find those warm PJs, but the Carter's outlet, Kohl's, and even BJs might have them still leftover.

I know! Liam's fleece onsies are cutting off circulation in leg and I have to go shopping. I know it's gunna be tough!

HATE THAT!!!

I am also getting annoyed at the Easter stuff. I know Easter can be early or late depending on the year, but I don't think that my DD will be wearing anything sleeveless unless Easter is somehow moved to June! So then I have to cover up her adorable dress with a cardigan! How about some options with sleeves!

Maybe try the outlets? Sometimes they lag behind.

I only recently found a brand of sweaters that were thick warm sweaters. You would think all of the clothing manufacturers live near the equator.

i saw kmart some winter/fleece pjs by carters on sale in centerreach. They were located close to the gargening area.

Went to the outlet a couple of weeks ago. NOT 1 sweater. Really!!! There are mountains of snow around us in parking lots and no sweaters in any stores. Ridiculous!!!! But in March we will have the Summer shoes out already and then we can start our guess game of what size shoe our kid will be in the Summer.

I can't stand this.
And it's not just children's closthes...tell me how you can buy a bathing suit in February but not a winter coat or a pair of boots?
And I was in Target yesterday and they had out SWIMMING POOL stuff and BEACH TOYS.
Ummm- on what planet are we using that stuff now?

Just like they rush Christmas- rush Eater- rush Summer.

I was at BRU yesterday and they had a huge display of Carters footie pjs on sale...this is an upstate BRU - but I figure it might be like that on LI too.
