Babymoon: where? when?

We are planning to take a "babymoon" before our LO comes, sometime during second tri. What is the best time to go?

Also, where would you recommend going? We'd like to make this a big trip, likely out of the country, but are a little worried about language barrier, foods, and me being exhausted easily. We were thinking London because it's a relatively short flight and they speak English, maybe with some other cities, but aren't really set on anything. I'd also be open to a cruise/beach vacation although my DH feels like we will do those with kids and would rather do something a little more different.

we're going to london/paris next week for our babymoon! i'll be 19 weeks. i called my dr's office before booking the flight and they asked me a ton of questions about my pregnancy and cleared me to fly. then when i talked to my dr about it at my next appt and he said to go and have fun and that's its the best time to take a vacation. his only suggestions were to get up and walk around frequently on the flight, drink a lot of water and not to forget to take my pre-natals.

We are going to Anguilla in 2 weeks - CANT WAIT! I will be 28 weeks. I spoke to my dr. about it first. She was totally on board. Originally I wanted to go to Argentina, but the flight was just too long.

Wow! you ladies went on some great babymoons. My DH and I went to the city for the weekend and caught a Clapton Tribute Concert at BB kings. We had a blast.

London and Paris sound great to me! The flight is pretty short and although I personally never went a lot of my friends did and had a great time. I wouldn't do a cruise also since you don't really know how that's going to affect your stomach, you might be sick all the time...

We went to Punta cana, DR.. Iberostar resort (all-inclusive) for 5 days. Honestly going when I did was the best decision EVER! I was around 26 weeks and feeling GREAT. I highly recommend you go in the 2nd trimester.

That vacation really held us over since now that our princess is here we arent going anywhere anytime soon.

For my first pregnancy we went to Punta Cana, this pregnancy we are going to Mexico. Both times I traveled in my 29th week

We are going to AC with some friends. I will be 29 weeks then. I figure we would stop every hour so I could stretch and walk around and also use the bathroom.

We are in the process of booking a trip to Anguilla for the very last week of March/beginning of April. I will be about 28 weeks at that point.

I think we will go to my parents condo in Ft.Lauderdale in July and maybe Montauk In august with friends. I am due in early Oct.

FH & I are planning on going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in April for a late honeymoon (getting married next Sunday Feb 20th) and baby-moon

We went to WDW at 15, 16? weeks.
We're going to Disneyland at 33 weeks.
Yes we are those people lol
All w/dr blessings. They say 2nd tri is the best.
But DH is a teacher so we travel when he has off!

we went on a cruise to cozumel, costa maya, belize and grand cayman when i was 16 weeks

DH and I are headed to Excellence Playa Mujeres in 6 days! I am so excited - we made sure that it was an adults only all inclusive...lots to drink for him, lots to eat for me! I will be 14 weeks when we leave.

well I went on my babymoon with my BF bc DH could not take off from work!

and I was determined to go somewhere WARM. . so I went to Puerto Rico for 4 days and it was sooo nice. went in November (due in February)

DH and I ended up going to AC for a weekend too when I was about 35 weeks and that was fun. . drive didn't bother me at all and I had a good time. . even drank an O'douls or two while we were playing!

We went on a cruise to the Bahamas and Key West, with a few days in Miami afterwards at 16 weeks. Very relaxing...and the bartenders on Royal Caribbean make awesome virgin drinks.

Spring time...maybe the end of my second trimester or the beginning of my third and to celebrate out 1st anniversary...Bed & Breakfast somewhere. Everyone enjoy your time!

I just booked a cruise this morning leaving manhattan next week.. to the bahamas.. just remember if you do a cruise you can't be anymore than 24 weeks.. i think everyone should do a baby moon

We are planning on doing one, but I want to check with my Dr first, because DH gets vacation time when I am 32w, so I'm not sure how far we can go.

I would love to go to Mexico.

With DS, We went to Key west when I was 17 weeks. I didnt want to go out of the country while I was pregnant!

This time around, I had wanted to do something. But we had gone to Disney when I was 20/21 weeks with the family and really just dont have the time to get in an adults only trip so I am thinking its going to wait until DC #2 is like 6 months and the we will leave them for a little get away!
