The one I posted has the option of putting it on a timer (15/30/45 minutes) but if you don't push the timer button it will play all night until you turn it off.

I bought mine at either Linens and Things or Bed Bath and Beyond (can't remember which one) almost a year ago.
I am almost positive that buy buy baby carries it!

I agree -- my DD fell asleep to the sounds of a heartbeat on super loud that we downloaded on Itunes -- we put it on repeat for like 8 hours a night -- craziness!

Ditto! Thanks for the post! My DH and I actually need a sound machine to sleep, so I was planing on getting one for LO, too. O also really appreciate the vacuum idea... Sounds pretty logical to me! Thanks!
