A little worried
Had a doctors appointment yesterday. Turns out I've had slight glucose in my urine the past two appointments. She told me to go for my 1 hour glucose test ASAP. So here I am sitting at the lab. Just drank the most disgusting lemon/lime concoction on the planet. I'm seriously worried now that I have GD. Any other girls have GD on here? Is it a major lifestyle change? Obviously I'll do whatever is necessary for my lo to be healthy. I'm just feeling a little down about this.

Oh hang in there!!! You might not have it even with those signs but if it turns out you do. . here is what I know. .
I don't have it but have friends who had. . it's def a change (depending on how you eat already) and will probably take adjustment but good news is you and your LO will be healthy and also women I know with it gained VERY little weight during their pregnancy. . mostly about cutting out sugar and carbs. . sp it can be a challenge for sure but not awful!

even if you fail the 1 hour it doesnt mean you will fail the 3 hour!!!
lots of girls fail the one hour not the three hour.. myself included

I didn't have gd and passed the 1-hour by a lot and still had 4 appointments over the course of my pregnancy where I had gkucose in my urine. It was always because of what I ate before going to my appointment (usually some sugary cereal). Try not to worry!!

You just gave me some hope but were u always thirsty? I drink between 3-4 liters of water a day.

i had it when i was PG with my twins...yes its not so fun bc you have to watch what you eat, but it is definitely not as difficult as imagined it would be!
