Nursery School cost...feedback needed!
I'm sure this has been asked before...looking into nursery school for DD in September. She will be 3.5. We are looking into a 2-day/week school (a.m. class)...just wondering average costs? The place we like is $195/month. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

This is what we pay for 3 days a week for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

DD goes 3 days a week for 2.5 hrs and we pay $190 a month. They raised it to $200 a month for next year.

Peyton will be starting in Sept at the same school Jordan went to.
3 days a week 2.5 hours its around $330 a month.  I know it is alot but it is a great school with all certified teachers, it is super safe(the building) and has a great reputation. One of the kindergarten teachers in DD #1's school told me that you can always tell the kids that have come from that preschool.

Hmm...so mine is a little high since some are getting 3 days for that price. Do your schools have separate rooms? What I liked about this school was that there was like 4-5 different rooms they go into during their time there for art/music/science/free play, etc. There is a smaller place nearby that is probably cheaper but it's just the one room.

No, it's one classroom. Except for music, they have that in a separate area.

My DD will be in a 3 yo class 2 mornings a week for $75/mo. This is a program though the town so it is very reasonable. Its a great program my younger sister goes there now.

Ours is $2800 for Sep-Jun for 2 days a week, 2 hours each day. So about $280 per month.

3 days a week for $170 a month for 2 & 1/2 hours, it's $210 for 3 hours which we'll be switching to this month since the kids get one on one time with teachers.

I dont think your cost is out of line if you like the place I say go for it.
The places I Have been looking at have been anywere from 150 a month to 299 a month for 2 days a week.

I pay $100 a week, for 2 days (8:30-4) all meals included and snacks. Inhome daycare.

My DS doesn't go yet but I've researched them and have found, in my area, they rage from $77/month - $500/month. So I think your price is average-good!

this is about what we pay for 3 days as well. 2.5 hrs a day.
ETA I think we paid $150 last yr when she did 2 days a week.

DD goes 2 full days (9-4) and we pay $310 a month. Next year she'll go 5 full days and we'll be paying $675. It's a lot cheaper than daycare.
