how much cereal does your 6 month old eat?
I forgot to add this to my post about schedules for 6 months old..so I decided to start a new post.
My twins get cereal 2x/day, not sure what is a good amount to give them. They love their solids, then won't take the bottle. Maybe I am giving them too much.
What do you give your LO?

At 6 months, my son was having 2 tbs of oatmeal twice a day mixed with 2 oz. of a fruit or veggie.

I only give cereal 1x per day in the morning with breakfast as per the ped...she said to do as we do and only give in morning. I give about 3 tbs of cereal with about 2oz of formula to mix it...with a fruit.
Lunch is yogurt.
Dinner is a veggie.
She has 3 8oz bottles a day - when she wakes, another around 3pm and one at 6:30-7ish right before bed.

I also only give my DD cereal once per day. When I was giving it twice, she would get constipated pretty easily....even on barley!
At 7 months, she has three solid meals per day.
- Breakfast: 2 tablespoons cereal, 1 jar of fruit
Lunch: Yogurt (YoBaby 3in1)
Dinner: Jar of veggie or veggie/meat
She is still doing 4 bottles per day (7, 11, 3, 7) but I think we'll be dropping the 11am bottle very soon. She is also looking for more solid food so I'lll be increasing her portions at each meal a bit.

Sounds like we are on the same schedule....you will LOVE dropping that 11am bottle. I love this schedule now with only 3 bottles...it's so much easier!

She did 3 tbsp twice a day. Mixed with fruit
Sometimes she eats it all up, other times she leaves a bit.

Sounds like we are on the same schedule....you will LOVE dropping that 11am bottle. I love this schedule now with only 3 bottles...it's so much easier!
She definitely is less interested in bottles these days and has been only taking a few ounces of her 11am one so I'm thinking its time to drop it and just move her lunch up.
