What does your 9 month old eat?

I still give Cassidy Stage 2 foods. The Dr. said there was no need to move on to Stage 3, you can just go to regular foods. She has 2 bottom teeth.

What should I feed her???

Re: What does your 9 month old eat?

Claire is almost 10 months old now, and since about 7-8 months she was getting so picky with all the jar foods. So we feed her a combination of regular food and try to get some veggies in from the stage 2 baby food.

For example:
Breakfast: oatmeal (regular brand usually the non flavored ones), toast, cheerios, frozen mini pancakes or french toast ( I usually break these into small pieces for her), egg yolk, we are just testing out scrambled eggs to see if she has an allergy to the whites, which she hasn't shown at all.

Lunch and Dinner: She will eat stage 2 sweet potatoes, carrots, peas and sometimes mixed veggies, chicken nuggets/tenders, grilled chicken pieces (Purdue short cuts are great for this), meatballs, bow tie pasta, pastina, bread and rolls. We try new things from our dinners here and there as well.

I am curious what everyone else is doing as well, I feel like I need more variety for her..

Claire also has 2 teeth on the bottom as well.

Re: What does your 9 month old eat?

My son is 9 months as well. He has tried all of the stage 2 food. I have also tried cheerios, gerber fruit puffs, pastina with butter, american cheese cut up in cubes, scrambled eggs, ground turkey or beef (which he hated !- he likes the jat meat combos better!), and sweet potatoes. He did ok with these foods, but i think its taking him a little while to get used to the textures.

Does anyone give their child juice yet? I give my son bottles at 7am, 12:00pm, 4-4:30pm, and bedtime 8-8:30pm. He gets about 26 ounces of formula plus his 3 meals. I was wondering if thats too much and i should cut out the 4pm bottle and give him juice and a snack instead??

Oh- my son has 8 teeth already !

juice is empty calories. I give Jeremy 1/4 juice with 3/4 water. Just for some flavor.
