Shower liners
Silly question... How do you clean the plastic ones? I have one a fabric curtain, fabric liner and a plastic one. I usually just buy new ones but can I clean it? And if so, how?

I bought one from BB&B and it stated I could wash it and line dry, so that what I do.

I just buy a new one from the 99 cents store. I couldn't be bothered cleaning it.

I wash it in the washing machine and hang it right up to dry in shower.

throw it in the washing machine. I have alot of white towels so I wash it with that and bleach... kills everything and makes them look brand new! if you don't have white towels... put something in that you bleach. it helps rub everything off of them during the cycle!

pretty much... you might want to let it dry spread out first a bit so that the side facing your cloth curtain does not get wet!

Really??? I never knew you could do this. I always cleaned them with Clorox Cleanup and then throw them out after a couple months. I'm going to have to try this. Thanks!!

Yes, in the washing machine. I think it's the delicate cycle since it's palstic, but I don't remember.

I throw it in the washing machine on warm with detergent AND bleach and some rags, then drip dry when I hang it back up.
We just replaced ours after 4 years.
Also, I will fill a spray bottle with bleach and spray it on the mildew and wait a few minutes (10) and rinse.
One tip...close the shower curtain so that mildew doesn't grow in the folds.

Why do you have a plastic liner if you have a fabric liner? Are you supposed to have both? I got the fancy fabric curtain and fabric liner at my bridal shower and so I just tossed the plastic one.

It does, but I thought it was meant too. I feel so dumb right now. So if you don't want it to get wet then why would you have a fabric liner at all? I just don't see the point in hanging 3 curtains. I thought the fabric one was just a step up from the pastic one because you could wash it.

Its all about the look of the fabric IMO...its just 2 liners the plastic and then fabric...I usually change the plastic liner every few months since it gets dirty amd wash the fabric one in the wash.
