Moving in this weekend! UPDATE HELP!
After 2 weeks with my in-laws we are finally going to be moving into our home this weekend! I am just SO happy, I can't wait!
We have the painter coming over on Saturday to take a look and the piano being moved from my in-laws to our house as well. I am so excited to unpack and get settled! Thank you all for your support!!
UPDATE:
I JUST got an email from our seller saying that her mover will not move her tomorrow because of the snow and they will be moving out on Friday. NOT GOOD being that we are moving in Friday and all of our stuff is being delivered in the morning. Help..what do we do?!

how long ago did you close? SHe only has a certain amount of time that she is allowed by the contract to stay.....I'd contact your atty first thing in the am.

this and Can you tell them to move their stuff to the garage or something so you can get move your things as planned? Can you push back your movers a couple of hours?

now that I think of it.....were you the poster who had the seller who kind of was being a big pain about moving out originally? I may have you mixed up with someone else though.............
but I don't see why her moving company wouldn't move stuff, KWIM? Assuming her driveway is all plowed and the walk-way is free and clear.

They have only a certain number of days to get out after the closing. Our sellers stayed after our closing and there was a specific date they had to be out by. If they were not, they needed to pay us rent.
You should call your attorney. Have your attorney contact their attorney and advise them that they must be out by the date specified. Even if that means moving all of their stuff to the garage.
Also, they need to make arrangements to have their move started FIRST thing in the morning. I would delay your move until around late morning, early afternoon.
