The sun is out! I'm in South Nassau. According to the radar map, it looks like the storm is going to swing back around to us soon, but for now, no snow and a nice pink sunrise.

It's slowed down here, although it's still coming down. I'd say we have about 12 inches here in Lindy.

The first storm to the west is too strong and the coastal low is not developing quickly enough. It looks like the western low is pushing the coastal low eastward. The low won't develop quickly enough to affect us in a significant way.
My forecast is 1-3" Nassau Cty westward. 3-6" most of Suffolk and 6-12" east end.
I give you credit, not so far off!

I agree. I'm in Nassau and I Just took the ruler outside and we have 7". Dh's office only had a delayed opening
